Funso Amoo is a multi-skilled oil and gas industry professional with over 27+ years experience worldwide in many countries such as USA, UK, Nigeria, Canada, Singapore, Netherlands, and Tanzania. He worked for Shell for over 16+ years where he held diverse leadership roles within various technical departments including Well Engineering, Deepwater Development and Exploration, Project Engineering, and Field Development and Planning. After his time with Shell, he moved on to BG where he was a Drilling Superintendent, Deputy General Manger, and consultant Head of Well Engineering for BG Nigeria and BG Tanzania. In 2010, he served as the Chief Operating Officer/Head of Operations and Development for Oando Exploration & Production Ltd (now Oando Energy Resources), a leading local conglomerate in Nigeria with international outreach.
In addition to being the Founder and Executive Chairman of Funtay Global Resources and TAKO E&P Solutions, he is the current President of Vogel Peak Energy (owners of OPL 917 and 907 in Anambra basin) and the Executive Chairman of Accelerated Compact Energy Solutions Ltd (owners of Thomas-1 Hydraulic Workover Rig). Funso actively champions the use of “Mean & Lean” Integrated Development concepts for economically challenged fields through the use of compact gas processing plants, modular refineries, and evacuation of gas to market using Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)
Funso has a BSc. degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Ibadan and a MBA from the University of Houston.
Jane Amoo has over 22+ years experience in North America and Africa with vast experience in New Business Start-Up and Expansion, Real Estate Construction/Marketing, and Petroleum Products Retailing. She is also the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Funtay Corporation and TAKO Inc., which are two U.S. based Construction and Real Estate Holding companies. Jane currently serves as the Vice Chairman for Funtay Global Resources and TAKO E&P Solutions in Nigeria.
Jane has a BSc. in Computer Science from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria.
Remi Amoo is a well-rounded engineer with 4+ years’ experience in Drilling Engineering, Process Engineering & Design, and Facility/Equipment Sourcing. She worked for a Canadian based service company where she engineered Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) and Underbalanced Drilling (UBD) well programs to solve complex problems such as wellbore ballooning, lost circulation, and stuck pipe. Her experience has enabled her to work on unique global projects in Canada, U.S., Middle East, and Nigeria. Prior to becoming the Deputy Managing Director, she served as a Business Development Engineer for Funtay and TAKO E&P Solutions where she was involved in process engineering design, business development, human/knowledge base management, equipment procurement & sourcing, Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) design.
Remi Amoo has a BSc. degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University. She holds various technical certifications including WellCAP Well Control for Drilling, Workover, and Completions from the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) and Decline Curve Analysis for production forecasting from IHS. She is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).
Adebukola Saka, ICAN
Adebukla is a Chartered Accountant with 6+ years’ experience in the Profession. She commenced her career in the Transportation industry where she was retained after her service year till she rose to top levels. Her experience has afforded her the opportunity to serve in various capacities within and in proxy of the company. She’s poised with sound working knowledge of monitoring and evaluation of all commercial aspects of Funtay’s projects. Prior to becoming the Commercial Lead for Funtay, she worked in the FMCG industry.
Adebukola has a BSc. In Accounting from the University of Benin, Nigeria and an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
Kevwe is a legal practitioner with vast experience in Corporate Commercial law practice. She honed her skills in several top law firms in Nigeria. She has advised several companies operating in the Nigerian oil and gas sector and has severed as Company Secretary to various regulated companies. She is well trained in the different laws, regulations and policies associated with the Nigerian Energy sector. She is currently the Corporate & Commercial lawyer at Funtay Global Resources Limited.
Kevwe obtained her LL.B with a second class(upper division) grade from the University of Benin, Edo State and B.L from the Nigerian Law School. She is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria.
Omotayo is a dedicated Engineer with vast knowledge and interest in all aspects of the oil & gas sector. He’s currently the Operations Engineer for Funtay where he is involved in the utilization of creative ideas in planning and scoping of Drilling, EPF, Marine operations schedule, on site supervision for all aspects of crude evacuation activities, as well as identifying materials/equipment required for all aspects of operations.
He has hands-on training and experience of about 6+ years in various positions in the sector such as Depot operations Engineers, Rig technical assistant and Well Site Engineer. Omotayo has a B.Eng. in Chemical Engineering from Ladoke Akintola University.
Sunday is currently part of TAKO E&P Field Operations team where he investigates locations and opportunities for the deployment of Midstream Oil & Gas Solutions as well as CNG technology. Sunday has a National Diploma from Imo State Polytechnic, Nigeria.
